In 2020- 21, I was asked to assist a classroom struggling with low engagement and morale. Traditional teaching methods weren’t reaching the students, so I implemented something different: mock interviews. I created a website with a bank of over 100 questions, had students submit answers, then met with them one-on-one for coaching and practice. We wrapped up the year with official mock interviews, supported by honest and caring guidance counselors. The results were immediate and powerful.

Students who once stayed silent began speaking with purpose and confidence. The classroom culture transformed. That experience confirmed something I’ve seen again and again. Great questions help people open up, think deeply, and gain new clarity — not just for themselves, but for everyone listening.
